FAQs
What is Microblading?
1
Microblading is a form of permanent makeup that creates natural-looking, fuller brows using a handheld tool to apply realistic, hair-like strokes. It's ideal for anyone looking to enhance sparse, overplucked, or uneven brows by adding shape, definition, and fullness.
Unlike traditional eyebrow tattooing, microblading is performed by hand rather than with a machine, allowing for incredibly fine strokes that closely mimic the appearance of natural brow hairs. The result is soft, realistic brows customized to complement your facial features.
What to Expect
Your microblading journey includes two appointments:
Initial Appointment
We'll begin with a consultation to discuss your desired shape and style. Your brows will be carefully mapped and pre-drawn for your approval before the microblading process begins. Healing typically takes about 30 days, and you'll receive detailed pre-care and aftercare instructions to ensure the best results.
Perfecting Touch-Up
A required touch-up is scheduled 6–10 weeks after your initial appointment. This allows your brows to fully heal so we can assess how the pigment has settled and make any necessary refinements for long-lasting, beautiful results.
How long does it last?
2
Your brows are not considered complete until after you have received a touch up after your first appointment. We recommend a touch up between 6 – 8 weeks of your first appointment date. After that, we charge a fee for annual or semi-annual color boosts.
Microbladed eyebrows last 1 to 2 years for most people, before it usually needs another touch up. This can vary depending on the skin type and how you take care of the treated area
Does it hurt?
3
Most clients report little to no pain, and would compare it to a tweezing session. Many clients even fall asleep! Topical anesthetic is applied prior and during the procedure so the client can feel at ease while receiving the treatment.
A microblading sessions consists of a consultation the day of, where we review your lifestyle and daily brow maintenance. We then map the brows according to your facial structure with the golden ratio of balanced proportion. Once you approve the brow shape, the procedure takes about an hour and a half. This entire session takes a total of 2.5-3 hours.

How long is the procedure?
You’ll be able to wear your new brows back to brunch! In the first 7-10 days, you’ll need to avoid getting them too wet (in the shower), working out (sweating) or wearing brow makeup. Please see aftercare for more details.
